Hi everyone!
I’m Lilly..well that’s not my real name but quite close ! I am a makeup addict and a chemistry geek. The makeup addiction and the love affair with chemistry began in 2007 when I started my PhD program in Chemistry. I have always enjoyed trying to figure out cosmetic labels (the food junkie + chemist combo in me also enjoys figuring out food labels as well!). This blog was created to air the reviews of the makeup lover Lilly and the scientist Lilly on a wide variety of beauty and skin care products..hence the name Lilly n Lilly!
A bit more about myself…I am happily married, I enjoy travelling, all sorts of crafty and DIY stuff and absolutely love baking!

Thank you for following my blog, Lilly and I am probably going to be buying some of the things you suggest. I must learn to be more feminine in my appearance. I was a tomboy at one time, but I grew out of that when I discovered boys….lol. I sill like my jeans and my sweats, they’re comfortable, but I’m not averse to dressing up once in awhile.
Hi lisalabelle! Thanks for your interest in my blog..by the way I was a tomboy too at one point and started being more of a girl only in college.. But again like yourself I cannot pass off an opportunity to lounge around in sweatpants 😉
